I am researching my New Years Outfit!

I have started the search for a New Years outfit, mind you I still am not completely sure of what my plans are, but that's not stopping me from planning.

I am a BIG fan of short skirts and short dresses. I wasn't blessed with a lot of height.... so whatever will elongate my legs and make me feel taller is all the better. I am leaning towards interesting hem lines, draping, ruffles and glitz. Here are the current contenders (not in any order):
Cynthia Rowley skirt @ www.shopbop.com
Bailey 44 @ www.revolveclothing.com

Foley + Corinna @ www.shopbop.com --- I wish this skirt wasn't white though....
BB Dakota @ www.shopbop.com
LaRok @ www.shopbop.com

BB Dakota @ www.shopbop.com

Nanette Lepore @ www.shopbop.com -- Honestly, I have personal issues with the brand, but this skirt is pretty cool.

  1. I like the BB Dakota (black with lace bottom) and the Nanette Lepore the best. That will really stand out when the lights hit it. I got a fitted tank top like that to wear under my Christmas sweater two years ago. The sweater was really pretty-3/4 length sleeves, detailing on the collar and sleeves and then a swarovski jeweled closure at the top.

The Bailey 44 would be a little cooler if the zipper was a two way one that zipped up from the bottom:) That would make it a little more fun. It reminds me of this top I had when I was in my twenties, it was a bold turquoise and had zippers up each side (you left them open for the arm holes) and then three inch zippers all over the top (the zippers were every which way) so you could leave some of them open or partially opened. I always liked the ones that were strategically placed; leaving those partially opened was cool. I used to wear it with a black micro mini for evening and stilleto heels.

Be sure to show us what outfit you choose. I live vicariously through you now that I am older. LOL!
