A kmart find - for real?

Well, the new House Beautiful magazine just arrived at my house, and its freezing and pouring here... so I'm couch-ing it up tonight and reading every magazine and blog til my eyes shut... All while watching Twilight.... Footloose.... The American President....

So, anyway - I was just flipping through House Beautiful and they had a picture of a darling side tray table..... from Kmart. I am a little apprehensive about this one, as it could look like total crap in person... but hey, you wont know unless you go and check it out.... And, besides - HB dug it.

    I like it, but I don't like the price...I think it should be more like $29.99 from Kmart.

    A year or two back, Celerie Kemble did an apartment showroom that House Beautiful published- in it, there was a mirrored dresser that I kid you not, came from JC Penney!! What's amazing is that you'd NEVER KNOW- it looked like exactly like more expensive mirrored counterparts, and it was seriously cheap, around $100 or $150. Crazy what turns up in unexpected places.
