Lincoln Update!
Here's the Lincoln update! He is hanging in... we have a rough road ahead, but I really think he is going to be walking again! It's going to take time and he needs a lot of support, but we will get him there! Please keep Lincoln in your thoughts!!

Thank you so much for the kind emails and comments you have left for me. I can't thank you enough for taking the time to share your stories, and your givings of encouragement. It truly is fascinating how much we love our pets. Anyway... the blog world is an amazing place, thanks you for your care and concern!Love,
Hallie

My Lincoln
I am convinced that animals make the world go round, they make our lives a little bit calmer and a little bit kinder, and make people remember to stop and smell the roses. This is my cocker spaniel, Lincoln and he is 8 years old. He was 6 weeks old when I got him in college and that could have been the best day of my whole life. It's amazing how a dog can change your life in so many positive ways. I know that Lincoln has been taking care of me probably more than I've taken care of him. He is my best friend. So... now we are here. And my Lincoln had to have back surgery -- due to a flipped disc on his spinal cord, which has led to his back legs being paralyzed. We won't know for a few days if he will be able to walk again, but there is an 80% recovery rate. Please say as many prayers and send warm wishes to Mr. Lincoln.

Dog Bed Duvet Covers
My dog absolutely loves his bed. It's this huge round dog bed that's for like a 75 pound dog, but my Lincoln is a cocker spaniel --- so he really gets to stretch out on that thing! I didn't like the cover it came with, so I had 2 covers made with zippers so they could be thrown in the washer any time. So, now 4 years later I have come across Molly Mutt, duvet covers for dog beds and they come in some awesome and fun prints. Check it out : www.mollymutt.com

My Foyer
I'm trying to get more pics of my apartment up. This is my entry way so far. But I feel like it needs something. Maybe a rug, or the accessories need to be moved around a little bit... I am not sure....
- I purchased the elephant garden stool and the mirror at my favorite vintage shop in Long Beach. They both are sooo heavy, I have no clue how I got it up the staircase!
- The table is from Pier One, but now that I look at the picture of the space, I really wish it were a parsons desk. But, this sofa table was $30 bucks, and for my budget, this seemed to be my best option.
- As for the accessories: The vase is from Z-Gallerie from about 4 years ago. Then, my good-luck-buddhas "Hear no evil, See no evil, Speak no evil" I got at an Antique Mall right outside of Long Beach - Ola's. They were $20 bucks for the set, and then 30% off. Such a deal, and I just adore these guys. Every time I look at them, I smile!
Anyway, Please do let me know if you have any suggestions. I'd love some input
