Don't Just Store it, Display it!

Don't you have some fantastic serving plates that you rarely get to see because they are wrapped up in bubble wrap, or stored in a cabinet? Change that! Make a conscious effort to use your beautiful serving pieces. Display them in a beautiful arrangement in your home, its art you didn't even know you had! Above is Kelly Wearstler's design at the Viceroy in Santa Monica.

A display of Hermes plates. Now this to me is brilliant! Who would want to cubby up a gorgeous collection of Hermes place settings?

  1. What a great idea! The first picture of the Hotel in Santa Monica that Kelly Wearstler designed is stunning!

  2. These are all wonderful-I have been collecting John Derian decoupage plates (second to last photo) for years and have them all on display, but not together. Some are in pairs on tables, some in pairs on walls, some on shelves.

  3. I am dying for a John Derian pouf -- but what color?!?! They all are too good!
