Themed holiday decor: Green! So pretty, fresh, crisp and clean. Kinda wish Jewish people did this to their homes for the holiday.... I am really thinking about it! LOL.

Dog Bed Duvet Covers

My dog absolutely loves his bed. It's this huge round dog bed that's for like a 75 pound dog, but my Lincoln is a cocker spaniel --- so he really gets to stretch out on that thing! I didn't like the cover it came with, so I had 2 covers made with zippers so they could be thrown in the washer any time. Jonathan Adler Loves the Elvis Honeymoon Hideaway.

NOTE: THIS IS AN OLD POST - I was reading through old postings and wanted to re-share this. Hope you enjoy as much I did.

Have you ever heard of Graceland in Memphis, Tennessee? If you live under a rock, or are not an American - It happens to be Elvis's estate where he lived for many years. In Palm Springs, there is the Elvis Honeymoon Hideaway which is where Elvis and Priscilla spent their honeymoon - and it's a pretty amazing mid-century modern spot. I am dying to take a tour - and to think I've probably been to Palm Springs a zillion times - and haven't been!

Besides myself being a huge fan - obviously, so is Interior Designer, Jonathan Adler. I love JA. I think he is brilliant, but it's very to easy to spot his inspirations. He must have been inspired by the Elvis Hideaway as he has featured many elements in his projects.

Above, the living room from Elvis's honeymoon home in Palm Springs, CA. This is a really chic look - and forward for the time with an indoor fire-pit.

Jonathan Adler's design (above) has many features that are influenced by the Elvis image. Besides the indoor fire pit; there is also the rounded sofa, the scattered pillows (in a similar color palate) and the Moroccan feel. There is also that casual-ness of the ottomans and the several different seating areas divided out thru the room.

I am researching my New Years Outfit!

I have started the search for a New Years outfit, mind you I still am not completely sure of what my plans are, but that's not stopping me from planning.

I am a BIG fan of short skirts and short dresses. I wasn't blessed with a lot of height.... so whatever will elongate my legs and make me feel taller is all the better. I am leaning towards interesting hem lines, draping, ruffles and glitz. Here are the current contenders (not in any order):

Thank you for designing the most stunning, balls-y, and totally amazing resort collection. Resort is always such a bull sh*t season (excuse my french) -- but you totally killed it! Please send the suede motorcycle jacket in a small (if it's not running super narrow... then an extra small) and the draped on the bias skirt in black also in a small. Also - I will be out of town for the holiday, so I'll save you on shipping and you can just send it ground.

I love this, just place bowls of ornaments scattered throughout.

A gold spray-painted wreath. This is easy, just spray the thing like crazy. Just make sure to do it outside, wear a mask, and make sure not to miss any spots.
