Here are my favorite 10 pins of the week (in no specific order).

WARNING: If you have a very clean mind - skip viewing this post!

I absolutely love cards.  Any occasion. Birthdays, holidays, thinking of you, just to say hello...  There are so many reasons to write a card.  E-mail can be such a cop out.

So - today I spent a little bit of time searching for my own Valentine's card on Etsy - and I was laughing out loud at some of these!! There are some amazing stationary/letterpress companies - and the best ones really are on Etsy!!  Please do take the time to scroll through their fabulous round up of Valentine's cards.

Here are some that I personally liked, thought were hysterical, or would be great for friends, relatives, etc.

On my radar...

Just like many of you, I love stationary.  A hand written note! What can be better than that?!
I have completely fallen in love with the John Derian stationary collection.  It's available at Dempsey and Carroll.  Check it out HERE.

It may not be the most budget friendly...  but its super chic, beautiful, and a really delightful gift idea.

A Great Source for Evites

I have to tell you - I am not a fan of evites for most occasions... BUT they do have their perks.
1.  It's paperless.  Go Green!
2.  It's easy for the event thrower, no hassle with getting home addresses, stamps etc.

So - I received an evite for a brunch I am attending in Chicago and it was THE BEST invitation I have ever received in an email.  You open an envelope and a gorgeous (e-engrave)invitation comes on your screen.  For your next party you really should consider using Paperless Post.  They have an amazzzing selection, you can personalize it to your exact needs!  They have note cards, b-day cards, notes, holidays,  and so much more.

Sycamore Street Press - Lovely cards and more....

Etsy really is a special place for small companies to show off their product and reach a wide audience.  I love that.  Today I came across Sycamore Street Press and just fell in love with their darling, sweet, yet tongue-in-cheek letter-pressed cards.

Sycamore Street Press uses a a vintage letterpress that prints one paper at a time, one color at a time.  This means that each card has a little bit of variation - meaning each one is slightly different, giving it charm and character.  I love this!

Personally - I love calligraphy (if you have been reading my tweets, you will know I have been looking to learn calligraphy) so I am drawn to the gorgeous fonts they use.
Check out their Etsy store HERE or their website HERE
Here are some of my favorites:

Gotta love a nod to Dirty Dancing!

This is the vintage Vandercook #2 letterpress they use.  Pretty cool, huh?
