Design Crush: Waterleaf Interiors

Jill Johnson and Suzanne Ascher make the amazing team behind Waterleaf Interiors - and they have some serious style. They are a design duo that really give off the California Charm in home decor.  Waterleaf also has a retail store in the heart of Manhattan Beach that sells vintage items, accessories, furniture, and custom upholstered pieces.    Check out their site HERE

How amazing is that turquoise wicker chair?!?

I absolutely love that dresser. Like, I want it - with the chair of course!

The mixing of patterns and colors in this bedroom is dreamy.  Big fan of this room!

Armonia Decors - A closer look at a fab designer.

I recently did a post (see HERE) on this amazing entry below and wanted to learn more about the designer behind it - as this is some serious insanity perfection going on.

This is where I learned about Armonia Decors. Principal designer: Emily Ruddo has insane style. Ruddo's look is comfortable, stylish, livable, doesn't feel too interior-designy yet the look only a professional can pull off. She's just really good. Ruddo is originally an East Coaster - but now a Southern Cali dweller, her look definitely has that sophisticated beach vibe. She also uses lots of turquoise... so - right off the bat, I am sold.

Love the idea of the grosgrain ribbon at the bottom of the lampshades.

From the personal file... Shine by S.H.O.

Are you familiar with Shine by S.H.O.? Well, if not - here's a quick intro.:
Susan Hornbeak Ortiz is the designer for this insanely gorgeous brand of Interior decorations including lighting, upholstery, furniture, case goods, and so much more.  It's a lifestyle brand with a serious eye for stunning and on point with trend pieces.  I am in LOVE with everything.  It has a boho, glamorous vibe to it - which is my absolute most favorite!

Here are a few images from their recent lookbook.  I die!
This is 100% ME!  Loves.

Turquoise and yellow office... with a dash of Honey.

Tamara-Kaye Honey of House of Honey knows how to design a room and I am a HUGE fan of hers!  I love how she incorporates amazing vintage finds and really know show to work with color palettes.  This is an office she recently designed in S. Pasadena.  It really is a special place.  I can only imagine the creativity that comes out of this office.

Gorgeous!

Turquoise and Chartreuse Love!

Turquoise paired with Chartreuse is one of my favorite color combos (the other is grey/white/gold).
I absolutely love this happy living room. That gorgeous map completely dictates the gorgeous color combo.

TIP: Find a piece of art work, or anything you want to hang on the wall (fabric, wallpaper, wrapping paper, a map etc.) and use that to tell you your color story and build completely around that!

One happy color combo: Turq and Yellow

Turquoise and yellow is such a popular color combination. Super bright and happy. What color combinations do you like?

A way cool teen room!

This is such a cool teenager's room.  I usually don't post too many kids/teen rooms, but I thought this one was so well done!!  It's grown up but still youthful and fun!

From the personal style....

This right here is the epitome of my style.  It's a total mix of straight lines and classic/traditional curves.  Then, it combines chinoiserie, amazing upholstery, bits of turquoise,  and brilliant show stopper pieces.

The happiest bedroom in all of the land...

Once upon a time a lovely woman's bedroom was photographed and posted on House of Turquoise.  A blogger - The Glam Lamb was in awe and had to repost them.  The end.  :)

Gold poufs - amazing!
Sunburst -- unreal!

Stay tuned for a "Get the Look" version.

From the personal file...

This right here pretty much sums up my look.  I love this.  It's bright and chinois-happy.  It's got a gold bamboo coffee table, a tufted settee, a cow hide rug, with an edge with those interesting floor lamps.  Amazzzing.

From the personal file....

Lets discuss this beautiful setting of dishes. This is EXACTLY what I want for my own china and I wouldn't change a single thing about it. I love the modern feel of the gold charger and small plate with the texture, with the sweet and girly turquoise dinner plate. If anyone knows any info on this stuff. Let me know. Its amazing.

Empire Chandelier

First it started with this chandelier below..... The Empire Chandelier designed by Marjorie Skouras.
And then after a seriously successful run with the pale turquoise version - more colors came out! I am totally jocking the hot pink, black, and white versions below. There are additional color ways on the website at Dennis Miller.

They are absolutely stunning! Everytime I see a room with the Empire Chandelier, I automatically fall in love.
