From the personal file: Pale purples and greys make a dreamy bedroom suite.

I recently saw this bedroom/living area suite featured at House of Turquoise and I just can't stop looking at it.  I know many of you have already seen it, but I wanted to share it again.  This room is livable, very stylish, soothing and yet not over top. I love how the wood walls are slidable to make it one room, or two, and the color palette and the choice of fabrics is perfection.

Love it!

Love some good tufting!

That velvet sofa with the tufting and bolsters is absolutely beautiful.
The stools and the artwork are fab too!

Pick your jaw up off of the floor

I just saw this over at House of Turquoise and did a gazillion-take.
UNREAL.  I now want a french style bench just like that with gorgeous white silk fabric and blue trim.
AND then there is the wallpaper.
I could see my mom falling in love with this.

Velvet!

Fall and winter months mean warmer and richer fabrics.  Wools, tweeds, velvets.  I just recently became a fan of velvet.  It makes me feel like everything looks like a jewel.  I like it especially when its modernized a bit.

Here are a few that I absolutely love.  What is your take on velvet?  Do you have any velvet in your home.  It's an option for me right now for my accent chair in my living room.  Like a dark turquoise possibly with gold nail heads.... We shall see.

Love this.  The wing back shape is unreal  Image via House Beautiful
