My favorite look of the Oscars - Mila Kunis!

I know that many bloggers will be reporting on the beautiful fashions of the Oscars - but the only dress that really made my jaw drop was Mila Kunis.  This dress is INSANE and she looks flawless.

I was just visiting the fabulous blog: Lovely Ugly Design when I came across these stunning photographs (originally from Corrie Cond for Marie Claire au March 2010) and I was completely inspired but the rich color and stared for several moments.

I love this! It's happy and bright, has romantic furniture with funky elements.

1. This is one of my vintage Drexel dining room chairs.  

2. Here is my vintage bamboo mirror (from an estate sale) with my campaign furniture.

I like purple.  I don't love it. 

BUT  -- this is pretty fantastic if you ask me.  It's so chic and on point with current trends without being too too trendy.  I love it!

Neat Floor Cushion

Saw this at World Market and thought it was such a great floor cushion/pouf. Its different from all of the leather ones I've been seeing - and the price is great - $39.99. Find it here.
Wouldn't this be great for a teen's bedroom? a dorm? a casual lay around room?

I heart this fabric

I am in absolute love with this fabric. The colors are so vibrant and happy. I love how it gives off the vibe like eachsingle strike of color is hand painted on. Maybe it is. It's the "Rossini" print and is designed by Jane Churchill.

Olatz Schnabel mixes colors....

Well did you get your new issue of House Beautiful? i am liking this new Editor Chief.... anyway... that's off topic. Here was the bedroom feature on Olatz Schnabel and I thought she did such a cool job of mixing blue, purple, pink, red, white.... I feel like if I were to try this it would cheapin the room and look like a mish mash of crap. But here looks so dramatic perfect French.

An Eclectic Boho Bedroom

Ok... so I'm back at square one for the bedroom... I don't even have an idea of what I would want to do... But I do like the idea of this boho-glam-ethnic room with the happy colors, eclectic accessories, all while looking clean and put together. Intriguing...

Boho - Glam - O - Rific!

I always imagine the person who owns a particular space. For this boho-chic living room, I think it belongs to an amazing couple that are well traveled, they probably have been on a safari in Kenya and they probably are activists for clean water through out third world countries.

Well, whoever they are -- they have gorgeous taste. I love the hot pink and purple combination on that striped sofa with the gorgeous cow hide rug.

Amethyst Lamp.

Last night I had dinner with my best friend on Abbot Kinney in Venice. We walked past the store Plantation LA to see two of these amethyst stunners chilling in the window. Both of us were in love! This image from their website doesn't even give it justice on how gorgeous and what a serious piece of art it is. $2,295 each.

Apartment Crush

This apartment belongs to a very talented designer - Anna Kohler. I am obsessed with her style and I think this could be the cutest space ever! This is my goal with my own place - to have something that is classic, yet has a few on point with trend pieces, but won't go out of style.

Not sure where I found this picture but I absolutely love it. It's got the suzani printed ottoman (obvious sign I'd be in love) and the flokati rug, and right now... I am in a purple phase. This has a clean funky vibe. Very cool.

Taxidermy that I like...

I am not a huge fan of taxidermy... I don't dislike it, Its just not really my thing. But, in this room, I really like it. It totally works. I do like that it is painted, it takes away from the real-ness of it. The room it self is gorgeous. The wall color with the purple is beautiful. And, I love the sconces, the interesting striped chair, and the casualness of the room.

A Beautiful and Serene Bedroom

This bedroom was designed by Shamir Shaw and it is so relaxing. There isn't much fuss to it, but it isn't sparse. It's comfortable and the color palette is very soothing. I love the organic inspired mirror above the headboard. It breaks up the symmetry. Lovely head board too!
