I am really feeling the color: Mint Green - It's so refreshing, bright, clean, it's got that old fashioned feel but still feels modern - when done right of course.  Because -- mint can be done wrong.... way wrong.

Michelle Workman is a fabulous interior designer with a ton of style.  This home is located in West Hollywood, CA and is absolutely gorgeous!  I love the clean color combination and the mix of furnishings all balanced perfectly together since its all in white.
This home gets me so excited for warm weather!

I could sit in this spot for hours and read blogs and mags!  Dreamy!

This bedroom is BANANAS!!  The bedding is so chic, but what really gets me is the pair of lamps, the end tables, the bench, and the wallpaper.  Insanity!!

I am really into kelly green and white.  Such a gorgeous combo. Obviously I am jocking that bamboo side table - but in general I love this preppy vibe with the matching kelly green bed skirt.

Love this bedroom from Lonny.  The printed headboard paired with the beautiful draperies and purple lamps is truly a stunner.  I loooove this whole look, its really put together well!

Jocking this rug

I just came across this rug over at Rugs Direct - and LOVES it!!  

I'd love to purchase the round option for my dining room.... 

I just have a little fear with purchasing a rug online.

** And, for a budget friendly tip: Beautiful botanical prints can be found at flea markets and antique malls all over the country.  Just look for old botanical books and frame the images that you like.  (That's exactly what the pros do!)

So here's a budget tip: If you need to cut corners, don't focus on the table, get something clean and modern (Ikea would be a good source) and then splurge on your chairs.

A good friend of mine is planning Thanksgiving dinner for the first time and wants it to be perfect! 

I was up front and told her I wasn't her best phone call for the menu.  

But for the table decor.... I could definitely help.  

She wants budget friendly and easy: 

Solution - decorate with bright colored fruit in interesting bowls. 

When you are done with Thanksgiving - you can have your decor for a snack :) !

Kelly Green - Oh So Divine

I have always been a turquoise girl... but lately I have been drawn to a few new shades: Purple, Hot Pink, and Kelly Green.  Mama Peggy (that would be my grandmother) loves the color kelly green... even had the flowers at her wedding at the Peabody in Memphis, TN spray painted the color (I don't know how this could have looked... but lets just let that one slide).  Anyway....

I love the feel of this room - its got the boho-glam vibe that I am constantly after. It's not necessarily the colors I love, but its just a great inspiration starting off point.
