 I don't know about you... but, I am a white bedding person.  White bedding is just easy!  It's sleek, clean, you won't get sick of it, and its always fresh and current. But... from time to time, I always think how fun it would be to have a bedding coordinated set.  Hello Serena and Lily!

NY Elegant Fabrics

I am in New York for work purposes for a few days and of course, I am a little screwed up by the time change... hence the 1 AM blog posting... Anyway, my office is in the heart of the fashion district and there are some great fabric stores over there. So when I took a break today, I took a little stroll and fell in love... with N.Y. Elegant Fabrics. (222 West 40th St. New York 10018 t.212-302-4984)



This fabric above is all thick sequins of all different sizes. I want this for my bedroom as a pillow, but at $200 a yard - it's really out of my price range. BUT I sure fell in love.

Then above was this amazing wool fabric with gold threading throughout, and this picture doesn't give it justice.
There also was a large selection of Missoni fabrics. They all were priced in the $60-70 per yard range - which I didn't think seemed that crazy.

I am a big fan of Missoni on the fashion front as well as the home front. I would love to have a really cool neutral color palette and then BAM! Missoni blanket all up in there. I just did a google search for "Missoni throw blanket" and these are the beauties that came up. In the words of Rachel Zoe, "I die!"

I am loving the M Missoni collection at Shopbop. I must say, its pretty fierce. This one-shoulder top would be amazing either tucked into a tight mini skirt, or casual over jeans.

Okay, for those people that read my blog that actually know me... my diet has been going extremely well. I have started a new goal. IF I reach that goal - this dress above will be the reward!!!!
