I know that many bloggers will be reporting on the beautiful fashions of the Oscars - but the only dress that really made my jaw drop was Mila Kunis. This dress is INSANE and she looks flawless.

From the personal file: Pale purples and greys make a dreamy bedroom suite.
I recently saw this bedroom/living area suite featured at House of Turquoise and I just can't stop looking at it. I know many of you have already seen it, but I wanted to share it again. This room is livable, very stylish, soothing and yet not over top. I love how the wood walls are slidable to make it one room, or two, and the color palette and the choice of fabrics is perfection.
Love it!

2 pairs are better than 1.
I like when a sofa has two pairs of pillows on them, instead of just one. I think it makes it look more polished and done. Here are some great example. (And - my living room is the last image at the bottom)

A craigslist round up
Over the past several months - Craigslist in Los Angeles has kind of blown... I rarely ever check things out because I've been sort of disappointed lately. But - today I've found a few things that are kind of cool and made me do a little double take.
How has Craigslist been for you? Anything absolutely amazing that you have found?

Talk to the hand....
For several years now I have been coming across sculpture Pedro Friedeberg's hand chairs and have been in complete awe by their tongue-in-cheek coolness and forward aesthetic. Kelly Wearstler and Jonathan Adler on huge fans - so of course everyone else follows!
After reading a little bit about Friedeberg, I have come to learn that he is quite a kooky guy, which makes sense since his art is on a different level. He has said, "I admire everything that is useless, frivolous and whimsical. I hate functionalism, post modernism and almost everything else. I do not agree with the dictum that houses are supposed to be 'machines to live in'. For me, the house and it's objects is supposed to be some crazy place that make you laugh."

Minty Fresh Home Inspirations
So fresh and so clean.... clean.... (A nod to Outkast by the way.... LOL!)
I am really feeling the color: Mint Green - It's so refreshing, bright, clean, it's got that old fashioned feel but still feels modern - when done right of course. Because -- mint can be done wrong.... way wrong.
So - here are some beautiful examples.

Real Simple has some great make overs
I love a good make-over. Especially those that are inspiring and are attainable. The March 2011 issue of Real Simple had two makeovers that I thought were executed brilliantly:
This bedroom (above) had strong pieces, and a gorgeous room to sit in - but it just needed oomph to make the beauty of the room pop!
Painting the walls and furniture really did wonders here. It makes the entire room, also the area rug and bench at the foot of the bed make it not feel so large. This room came out beautiful!
This next living room needs a big dose of cheer up! It's got such great light, and has the potential to be fantastic.
And of course - the designers over at Real Simple did not disappoint.
Focusing on the symmetry of the window wall made such a gorgeous focal point. I love the pops of color, the layering of the carpets, and the whole feel.

World Market Does it Again!
If you read The Glam Lamb often enough - you will notice that I have quite a few posts about World Market. I am just such a big fan for their on-point with trend style while staying budget friendly - and having great quality.
Here are 3 shots from their Spring web campaign and a few new pieces that I thought were insane!
