Decorative shelving brackets

Ever since coming across this picture in Lonny Magazine,

I haven't been able to stop thinking about using brackets for a fantastic shelving unit or bar set up. I love it.

Unfortunately I haven't been able to find the bamboo ones

that are pictured below,

but I have found some other great options at Anthropologie and Van Dykes..

Sting's gorgeous living room

Sting's got some good taste.
Look at how gorgeous this living room is in his New York apartment.
The fabric on the sofa... perfection.

Dream office.

I'd be delighted to work from this desk!  Jan Showers really knows how to design beautiful spaces.

PS - I need that lamp.

Keep it clean, airy, and bright

So clean and airy, and what a great way to guarantee your shelves will stay nice and tidy... since it will have a full on view at all times.  Also, a budget friendly idea for new kitchen cabinets.

Display Your Memories!

I love this! I think it would be amazing to get all your pictures copied to be black & whites and then framed and grouped on plain shelving like this. This is special.

A Soft and Delicate Shelving Display

I thought this was such a delightful display. It's a wonderful example of how to show a collection of vintage glass. This is very soft, and romantic - and has a shabby chic feel, without the "old and used" vibe to it. This is very practical too.
