And what is that, you ask?
Well... HB has announced their 11 favorite living rooms of 2010 - and 5 of my personal faves of the year were included and here they are in order:
#5 Designed by Richard Norris and Mark Leslie, this living room is delightful and rich and I love how airy and bright it feels. The wall coverings (room dividers?) are so unique and the punches of bright color are fantastic.
#4 - Designed by Michael Sachs, this room has folk charm meets French Country charm. I love the coziness of this room.
#3 Designed by Jim Howard, this room hits all of the right notes with the gorgeous color palette, the stunning bone inlaid mirror, the warmth from the stunning fireplace, and the punches of hot pink. I also really like the delicate mix of chairs. I'd sit here with friends for hours - happily!!
#2 The living room below is designed by one of my all time favorites,
Tobi Fairley. When this House Beautiful issue came out with her work on the cover - I was so excited!! I love the color palette, and the gorgeous furniture selection.
#1 The living room below belongs to Melissa Warner of
Massucco Warner Miller, and is my all time favorite living space. My goal is to have my home have the same feel as this (or at least similar!). Its sophisticated yet youthful and mixes all the right elements!
