I love a bit of animal print.  It's classic and glamorous with a little bit of edge.  

I love how fancy and formal these two rooms are and then have that bit of sass with the cheetah ottoman and accent pillows.

I love quirky-ness.  I love pieces that make you do a double take and this room is filled with so so so many. It's a room filled with show stoppers and I love that!  Every piece can stand alone.

A glamorous sitting area

I love intimate sitting areas where you can curl up with a good friend and talk for hours. Or even sit with a pile of magazines, your laptop, a drink.. whatever relaxes you. It would feel so glamorous to do it here.

I was just reading through some of my older posts, and I got sad when I read the post about Kelly Wearstler's Malibu estate. Here is a living room designed by Wearstler that makes me smile, and realize all over again why she is so talented! Bravo!

I love the feel of this room - its got the boho-glam vibe that I am constantly after. It's not necessarily the colors I love, but its just a great inspiration starting off point.

Pretty Bedroom

The person that sleeps in this room must be the coolest person - ever. If only we could see what the rest of the room looks like....

Chinoiserie Lamps

I know these lamps are a bit weird, but I really, really like them. Funny is that I actually saw a lamp exactly like this pair at a thrift shop on Fairfax - but, it was $200 just for 1, and it needed to be re-wired and had a dreadful lamp shade, but I think these are just statement pieces.

Can I please get ready here every day? I don't need a huge extravagant bathroom. Just a lush and beautiful space like this would be perfect! So clean, not over the top , and just the perfect amount of glam with that venetian mirror on top of the regular mirror and that beautiful lamp shaded sconce.

Winter Means Hot Chocolate and Coffee

Aren't these sick? I would love to have these for cold days (like today) where its raining and going outside doesn't sound like much fun.... And the only reasonable thing to do is watch Twilight and make a cup of coffee. These are designed by Kelly Wearstler for Pickard.

Designer Crush - Amanda Nisbet

Well I have a new design crush. Actually - I have seen a lot of her work before, but had no idea all of these rooms were designed by the same person -- Amanda Nisbet. She has an amazing sense of color and quirkiness. She's really good. Really really good!

If this were my bed, every night I would pretend that I was a princess.. ok, a Queen. This canopy is so dramatic. I love it.

A Lovely Petite Bedroom

This room really gives big impact for being on the small side. I love how balanced it is, especially with those stunning gold mirrors on either side of the bed with the mod lamps. Its dramatic without being over the top. I really like how the crown molding is painted a dark chocolate. It's just a little detail that give a good punch. The pale aqua walls are great and so is the creamy clean bedding. This room is earthy yet glamorous and I love it!
