Only cool babies allowed!

Is this one bad ass nursery, or what?!
Interior designer, Nicole Lanteri knows how to make a baby's room cool.

The mix of materials include dashes of: mid century modern with plush and soft textures, black paired with pastels, a hint of animal print, piping, and specific furniture choices.

Another bonus: It would be impossible to get sick of this room, and it will be easy to transform when the baby grows up! Smart thinking.

Fantastic Area Rug

This is the Spello Rug from Grandin Road and I want the "surf" (the turquoise color) option for my living room. Amazing.

Cool people must live in these rooms.

Right now I have a ton of pics saved on my computer of really cool rooms, that have amazing layering, texture... all with that bohemian vibe, livable yet really cool and interesting feel. I just imagine really creative people residing in these spaces.
This one above is from Lonny Magazine. I love the coffee table, the lucite chairs, the zebra benches, the bikini clad painting - it just all works!

The image above is from Metropolitan Home. The chair and flokati rug are amazing - but its that piece of art with that floral arrangement that caught my eye.
The image above is from Gorgeous Shiny Things, and I just love the color story here. That chair is awesome. I am not a huge fan of starbursts - but this one is pretty amazing.

From the Personal File....

My living room sofa is identical to this one... so anytime I see it perfectly featured in a fun room like this.... I have to post! I am loving the colored zebra... This is definitely a future idea when its time to mix things up a bit. LOVE!

Blue Zebra and bamboo - From the personal file...

There is nothing about this picture i would want to change.
I want the following:
1. The parsons desk
2. The bamboo chair. That color is insane.
3. The curtains - pale blue/grey zebra print - are you kidding me!?!

From the personal file.....

I love the feel of this room - its got the boho-glam vibe that I am constantly after. It's not necessarily the colors I love, but its just a great inspiration starting off point.

Random pattern combo.

I wish I was bold enough and brilliant enough to come up with this combination! I would never have thought to pair the blue and white zebra fabric with that yellow/orange and white wall paper. Its amazing. I love it.

From the Personal File....

I am in LOVE with the bed skirts on these twin beds. I have a very similar headboard (the tufted Ballard one in khaki) and I think this bed skirt would look amazing with it with some beautiful clean white bedding with touches of an accent color.... oh but which one?! turquoise? orange? yellow? Anyway, this could be a future idea for me!

Rugs at Urban Outfitters

Urban Outfitters has some good and cheap rug options. I am especially liking those sisal/natural looking ones.

The Straight Fitted Table Skirt

I HATE Pedestal sinks. I think they are pointless and waste of space. They especially are a total burn if you live in an apartment with only one bathroom - meaning you lose a great storage space. So - on that note - look at this amazing fix below. This bathroom's pedestal sink has been outfitted with a gorgeous zebra print fabric. It looks super sleek and clean - and there's ample amount of space to store all of your bathroom needs.
Now, the picture below is from the blog, Little Green Notebook - and its a straight fitted table cloth for a square table. It's got the same look as above and I love it! Very creative.

From the Personal File...

This room isn't very typical of my normal look - but there are so many aspects that I appreciate that I would love to blend this clean aesthetic to my personal likes.

1. THE BED SKIRT!!!!! It reminds me of the Jamie Drake one, I absolutely love!
2. The bedding -- the simple white bedding with the orange detailed trim, and the criss-cross pillow accent.
3. The bright orange headboard with the nailheads
4. The loud painting taking up the only attention on the walls
5. The end table, clean, with a cool edges. Great table scape with the fun bubble lamp and small vase of roses. Not over done - just right!

Yellow!

Spring and summer means cheerful and happy colors. Here are some great looking rooms with lots of yellow. It doesn't get any cheerier than this!

Enjoy!
Gorgeous yellow roses and I love the unexpected baroque mirror in yellow.
I love, love, love this! It doesn't get much cheerier than this. I would smile walking in this door every day.

Great wallpaper and love the chinoiserie headboard. White and yellow looks so clean!

This is amazing. The yellow and the zebra are an unexpected combination.

Love the yellow and white floral with the bamboo furniture. It's cool.
