The budget friendly option for a FAB mirror

Everyone has seen this foyer belonging to Liz Lange (and designed by Jonathan Adler).  Its been going around the blog world for ever, it feels like....
Many places did copies of this mirror - and I think one of the best ones was by Pier 1.  Well - the Pier 1 version (see below) is now on sale!
Pier 1 - peacock mirror $199.95 (original $249)

Multiple pendant lights

Beautiful pendant lighting, original and not the norm. Love these! I love how these are grouped in different sizes with snazzy pom-pom detailing. image via Living Etc.

A really cool person lives here.

When I see images of people's homes I always wonder who lives there and what do they do the second they walk in the front door and what do they do in their spare time? Do they take their shoes off? (That's what I do!). Or, do they change clothes and put on something comfy, or make a snack As for their spare time... do they work out, read, go to flea markets, see plays? I am being nosey. oh well.

For this room.... the couple that lives here must be pretty bad *ss with such great style. OR their interior designer is!

True Blue Baby I Love You

What beautifully upholstered chairs. And those blue hydrangeas are so happy. This is a very chic and pulled together look.

Cool people must live in these rooms.

Right now I have a ton of pics saved on my computer of really cool rooms, that have amazing layering, texture... all with that bohemian vibe, livable yet really cool and interesting feel. I just imagine really creative people residing in these spaces.
This one above is from Lonny Magazine. I love the coffee table, the lucite chairs, the zebra benches, the bikini clad painting - it just all works!

The image above is from Metropolitan Home. The chair and flokati rug are amazing - but its that piece of art with that floral arrangement that caught my eye.
The image above is from Gorgeous Shiny Things, and I just love the color story here. That chair is awesome. I am not a huge fan of starbursts - but this one is pretty amazing.

A Classic Room - Revamped.

I love how classic yet totally flipped around this room is. It has this classic floral print sofa, in a very classic shape, with a matching love seat. And then it gets turned around a bit with some fun funk. It's got the cool zebra hide rug, and the super dark painted walls. And then the mod Warhol of Marilyn Monroe. This room is very cool to me. I keep looking at it and noticing off-kiltered things. I dig it.

David Jimenez's Palm Springs Retreat

The New York Times recently did a feature in their Great Homes and Destinations Section on Interior Designer - David Jimenez's Palm Springs retreat. It screams Glamour, Hollywood Regency, Chic, Fun and Happy! I adore it, and it completely reminds me of my best friend, Christine's place. She's going to have a field day when she sees this! How could he not be smiling ;)
Gorgeous Master Bedroom - love that Zebra Hide, and look at the stunning Jere sculpture above the bed. Pretty sick.

Love that table base, chandelier, the flokati-esque rug, the white on white mirror. This is such happy drama.

Looks like KWID was in here!

This is one of my favorite images of the whole place. That mirrored parsons desk which the benches, and the vintage inspired wallpaper. I also love the double pairing of the lamps. I think I may do something like this in my entry.

Wow!!! This is stunning He layers very, very well.

Beautiful Foyers

They say your foyer is a major importance in the home, as it is the welcoming of your guests. I have a small foyer in my apartment that I finally moved my elephant garden stool into with a small, gold colored sofa table. It looks great and pics to come soon. So, for a while I was constantly looking at entry ways.... Here are some of my favorites: Designed by Jonathan Adler for Liz Lange. This is one of my all-time favorites. I love the white hard wood floors, the owl, the chair, the sofa table... it all goes so well. What I love is that it looks like all of these pieces are favorites of the home owner and they all blend perfectly.

Designed by Varney. What a fun play on black and white.

Another Jonathan Adler. He sure does love the owl umbrella stands! Love this! Screaming Glam!

This entry way is stunning. It really is simple if you break down the room - the part that makes it truly original is the citrine painted wall. Imagine if the wall was painted white. There would be no zip to it. This is truly brilliant.

The Zebra Hide Rug

The Zebra Hide Rug has been around for quite some time, it's a timeless classic, but a fun one! It's classic, can be made elegant and dressy; earthy and funky; Hollywood Glam...... If your room is a little plain, it can add some life to it. It truly has a mind of its own and can be incorporated into any space/look.

On that list of mine is a Zebra Raw Hide rug, and after seeing a few the examples below - I am sure you will want one too! Pretty fantastic! This room is comfy glamour~

So dramatic! And, check out that Ikat fabric white chair!!
