Jocking Trina's Place

Sooo.. Back in the day I interned for Trina Turk at their corporate offices in Glendale. I have to be honest - I sort of hated it. Ha. BUT -- I absolutely LOVE her Palm Springs mid century home and want it for my self. Her living room is insane. The gold greek key chairs should be mine, and same with that interesting stool/round side table, and both lamps.
I also will take the bar cart with the glass bottles.

Here (above) is the guest bedroom. Nothing in particular I am DYING to have, but the bed and the bedding is kinda groovy. Gotta give credit where credit is due.

And then of course is her sick vintage Lane dresser that is bad ass. And same goes with the lamp, rug, and bargello-ish throw blanket.

Chinoiserie in Palm Springs....

Here are more pics from my trip last weekend in Palm Springs. Saw a ton of bamboo furniture and Chinoiserie pieces, so if that's what you are looking for - I definitely recommend driving out to the desert.

stores are: Revivals, Angel Thrift, Estate Sale Company all on Palm Canyon.

Ever heard of Beaumont?!

On the way to Palm Springs (coming from LA) is a little town called Beaumont. Beaumont has a street lined with vintage shops and antique malls - all with the sweetest shop owners that just want to give you tid bits of history with all of their products. And one of these shops has a picture of Jonathan Adler in there shopping... buying random quirky items.

This amazing green bamboo sofa table was $45. Wish I had a need and a place for it!

Trina Turk's Palm Springs Home

I know these images have been a round for quite some time, but I always love looking at Trina Turk's Palm Springs home. It is so cool and interesting. I love all of the mid-century modern furniture and the different mixture of texture.

David Jimenez's Palm Springs Retreat

The New York Times recently did a feature in their Great Homes and Destinations Section on Interior Designer - David Jimenez's Palm Springs retreat. It screams Glamour, Hollywood Regency, Chic, Fun and Happy! I adore it, and it completely reminds me of my best friend, Christine's place. She's going to have a field day when she sees this! How could he not be smiling ;)
Gorgeous Master Bedroom - love that Zebra Hide, and look at the stunning Jere sculpture above the bed. Pretty sick.

Love that table base, chandelier, the flokati-esque rug, the white on white mirror. This is such happy drama.

Looks like KWID was in here!

This is one of my favorite images of the whole place. That mirrored parsons desk which the benches, and the vintage inspired wallpaper. I also love the double pairing of the lamps. I think I may do something like this in my entry.

Wow!!! This is stunning He layers very, very well.
