A perfect example of mixing what you love!

I am a firm believer in mixing things up. See, we all have appreciations for different arenas of design (shabby chic.. meets hollywood regency... meets mid-century modern... meets minimalist.)

Here is a fab example of bold wallpaper prints paired with clean lined furniture, paired with romantic and soft pillows. If you love it, everything will blend perfectly!

Grandinroad? Ever heard of it?

Have you ever heard of GrandinRoad? Well they only have a few locations - but they have som really cool stuff and pretty reasonable pricing, and it all looks like its nice quality. It's got a chill, boho vintage-y vibe but cleaned up with straight lines. I am really digging this site.

If you have been to one before or have ordered from their website or catalog, I'd love to know what you think - as these are my favorites for future ideas down the road. This book shelf is taller than you think - and I think two of them on either side of my television credenza in the dark brown color would look awesome possibly.
Beautiful bedding... not necessarily for me, but I dod like it. It includes 1 duvet cover and 2 standard shams.

Great Headboard - very West Elm-y.

This is a great outdoor rug, but would look way cool indoors.

This beding is designed by Dwell Studios. I think its a great option if you want a little "somthin-somethin" but still want to do the white look. Alo, this includes 1 duvet cover and 2 standard shams.

These were also made to be outdoor rugs, but I say use it for indoors!

What a neat end table. Great organic feel to it.

I'd love to see two of these paired on either side of a bed. So sleek, love that skinny base they have.

This drum type table is exactly what I need for my living room to be honest. It's pretty fierce.
Awesome kilim pillows with a grat price tag of $29-$39. Can't beat that.

Rugs at Urban Outfitters

Urban Outfitters has some good and cheap rug options. I am especially liking those sisal/natural looking ones.

ModernDose.com

I was reading Metropolitan Home (June 2009 issue) the other day. I had no idea what an awesome magazine it was. I was under the impression that it was a super-modern, boxy style magazine. I was wrong, I admit.

So, I am reading this magazine and learn about a new website, Modern Dose - http://www.moderndose.com/ Not only is it cool, hip, and on top with the trends, but... the prices (for the most part) are pretty reasonable. Nothing out of this world! So, now we've got - cool, hip, and good price point. What else could this site have? You got it! An eco-friendly section. This site has it all.

The Flora Pouf. Love love love! How dreamy is this pouf? Its such a statement. All I want to do is stare at it.

Set of 3 Attraction Pillows. Too cute! I would love these in a little girl's bedroom.

Dreamy!

This reminds me of Jonathan Adler and how he loves Gnomes. Creepy, but still cute if you are into that sort of thing.

Bargello.

KoKo Company

KoKo Company specializes in making fun, festive, and colorful pillows, duvet covers and indoor/outdoor rugs. They tend to have extremely vibrant colors, a Moroccan feel, and a Summer vibe. Very laid back. There prices are reasonable, and when you want to test color, and not completely commit - KoKo Company has great offerings.

You can check them out at:

This rug would be so cute in a little girl's bedroom - it comes in other color-ways as well. These rugs are easy to clean too. All you have to do is spray them down with a hose.

I just received an email from Ballard Designs showing the 13 Favorite Pieces by House Beautiful Magazine. So, I thought I'd pick my 13 favorite pieces as well (and why!) To view these pieces check out http://www.ballarddesigns.com/ Thurston Chair - You can pick the fabric for this chairs and if you want nailheads, etc. I adore this couch, I love the dramatic back.
