Hiii-ya! Karate chopping pillows? Do or Don't?

I have no idea how I feel about the whole karate chopped pillow. How did that get started? Who decide to start arm fighting with a pillow to make a crease at the top. Anyway - do you like, or do you prefer to eep your pillow soft without the structure. Opinion please?

Love these chairs!

My best friend, Christine has these these chairs in white. I loved them in white - but I have never seen them in a natural wood color and I think they look amazing. (And... the wallpaper is pretty bad ass too!)

My living room sofa is identical to this one... so anytime I see it perfectly featured in a fun room like this.... I have to post! I am loving the colored zebra... This is definitely a future idea when its time to mix things up a bit. LOVE!

Taxidermy that I like...

I am not a huge fan of taxidermy... I don't dislike it, Its just not really my thing. But, in this room, I really like it. It totally works. I do like that it is painted, it takes away from the real-ness of it. The room it self is gorgeous. The wall color with the purple is beautiful. And, I love the sconces, the interesting striped chair, and the casualness of the room.

I am loving this table scape. I want it. This type of image makes my creative juices flow. So, as I have discussed previously, I am currently in the color layering phase of my living room. It's soooo hard, but this image is making me want to get out of my bedroom and head straight to my living room and play. I have decided to do jewel tone accents of raspberry, deep turquoise, citrines.... So, I swear one of these days I'll take a pic...

Ok, back to this:

1. Love the color combo of the the citrine/yellow/turquoise/white.

2. That parsons desk with the white cut out detailing is brilliant.

3. The layering and accessories on the table scape.

4. The art work , leaning. Love that.

5. The garden stool.

Those Dining Room Chairs....

So... I keep seeing these bamboo/wicker dining chairs and they are insane. I have no clue who designs them, but would love to know. So, these are two casual dining areas that I completely fell in love with .
- Both have the exact chairs!
- Both have the turquoise thing going for them!
- Both have some kind of fun whimsical element, whether it be a pair of matching foo dogs, or the enormous dog chilling in the corner
- Both have gorgeous and distinct drapery action!
- Both have a comfy settee set up to replace a couple of normal chairs

A Gorgeous Bedroom

Joe Nahem designed this gorgeous bedroom for a couple in Greenwich, CT. I am in love with this room.

1. The neutral color palette with the pops of turquoise and chocolate

2. The symmetry

3. The carpeting is unreal.

4. I love how large the room feels, its so spacious but the scale of the furniture works perfectly.

5. That chandelier is awesome.

6. The head and foot board with those nail heads.

7. The casualness of the room yet still a little dressed up and sophisticated.
