The Straight Fitted Table Skirt

I HATE Pedestal sinks. I think they are pointless and waste of space. They especially are a total burn if you live in an apartment with only one bathroom - meaning you lose a great storage space. So - on that note - look at this amazing fix below. This bathroom's pedestal sink has been outfitted with a gorgeous zebra print fabric. It looks super sleek and clean - and there's ample amount of space to store all of your bathroom needs.
Now, the picture below is from the blog, Little Green Notebook - and its a straight fitted table cloth for a square table. It's got the same look as above and I love it! Very creative.

Vintage Chanel Jewelry at Shopbop.

I gotta be honest. Shopbop is my fashion bible. Its such an amazing website, every week I click on the "what's new" link and I am always amazed. Now... WGACA Vintage has the most amazing collection on the Shopbop site for Authentic Chanel Jewelry. Now, the prices are a bit steep - but if you are of a lover of Chanel -- you will definitely appreciate it!

Fall Fashion ALL Glammed Out!

How glammed out is this chic. I am loving these two images. The coat and the dress are both stunners, but her volumized hair and smokey eye is pretty sick too. I do not like cold weather (at all) but these two looks are inspiring.

Design Trends Come Full Circle.

Can you believe that this room is from 1971? All of the current hot design trends are featured, the only give away that this room is a little dated is due to the old-school rotary phone and the ugly mums floral arrangement.
1. The bamboo chair
2. Taxidermy
3. The straight lined sofa
4. Gold based coffee table with the glass top - very boho/garden stool-ish
5. Yellow color palette
6. Animal print accent pillow

Who ever said your Hanukkah Menorah has to be traditional doesn't know ADLER!

Leave it to fellow member of the tribe, Jonathan Adler to come up with the most spiffy, modern-vintage inspired Menorahs for the holiday season. These are great and range from $95 - $295. All can be found at www.jonathanadler.com.

Love my sister to death, but I need Nate Berkus for a Brother!

This is Marni, and she is the lucky girl to have Nate Berkus for a brother. So, obviously he designed her first apartment. It is budget friendly with strong investments made on key pieces, vintage finds, and selected pieces from his HSN collection. It is youthful yet sophisticated and beautiful. I absolutely love everything about this place. Amazing!

Feeling Princess-y. Obviously.

If this were my bed, every night I would pretend that I was a princess.. ok, a Queen. This canopy is so dramatic. I love it.

Another room of Aerin Lauder's...

Everyone seems to love Aerin Lauder's style, so here is another one of her rooms with awesome taste and style via Elle Decor. That chandelier, coffee table, and wall color are absolutely amazing! Loves it!

Skeelo said it best....

"I wish I was a little bit taller.... I was a baller..."

I wish I was tall. So tall that I could pull off the super tall over the knee boots that are huge this season and be able to wear them with a cute mini skirt and not look as short as I am. (I am 5'2" and could really use a few more inches). How amazing is this outfit?? It is so chic and wish I could pull off the look. I could though.... just with a great pump, and not a boot. A girl can dream!

Great Kids Rooms!

Everyone around me is either pregnant, just had a baby, trying for a baby, or wants a baby! So - to inspire all of these wonderful people in my life.... here are some great kids rooms from baby to teenager bedrooms - here are some great finds! What a fun and interesting headboard.
This is a great space. Lot's of play room, and that rolling ladder leads to such a fun secret spot.

Designed by Jonathan Adler - so girly and fun! Super kitschy. I love this.

I really love love love this bedding, it's still girly - but its got a cool vibe with the zebra print.

This is full on trend! The color combo and toile is beautiful and love that pillows that were made.

A great room for a cool kid that can grow into this room. Once he gets a little bit older, just lose the stuffed animals and the room total adjusts!

This is such a sweet baby room. If I had a little baby girl, this would be pretty close to what I would want from the colors, to the side chair, the hanging lighting lamp.... it all works! So precious!

Cool Holiday Gift Alert

This is a brilliant gift idea/stocking stuffer for almost anyone who has a desk job. It's a desktop ipod speaker from the Container Store. This would be an awesome idea for Secret Santa, a co-worker, or even the college student. The price is also great too - $9.99.... can't be that!

Another One Bites the Dust

I am getting pretty fed up with constantly finding out that fantastic publications are being discontinued. We are all still deeply mourning Domino. And then went Gourmet and Southern Accents, and now sadly- Metropolitan Home is going to magazine heaven as well and this is their final cover.

To Quote Elvis...

"Thank you... Thank you very much."

Thanks to Ada-Marie for awarding me with the Kreativ award! I am so honored! She has a kick-ass blog filled with such great design inspiration. So, make sure to check it out!! Thanks again!!
